The Fiat Grande Panda has launched in Italy at an affordable price. This car became another version of the Fiat Panda even though the two were not related to each other. Unlike the Panda, which is built on the FCA Mini platform, the Grande Panda uses a more economical Smart Car Platform and has become the main base for many cars from various brands.

This car also comes in two options, namely electric and hybrid. The electric Grande Panda is available in two options, namely (Grande Panda) RED and La Prima. Meanwhile, the Grande Panda hybrid is available in Pop variant, Icon, the best of which is La Prima. For the electric variant, the selling price starts at 24,900 Euros, while the hybrid version is more affordable, namely 18,900 Euros.
Design
Looking at the exterior appearance, this car is quite futuristic, cool, and dashing. The front is full of pixels that make the appearance even more modern. Interestingly, on the lower side of the car there is also the written Panda, which makes the appearance even more distinctive. The different wheel designs on each variant are also able to make it easier to distinguish between the three.
Interior
The Fiat Grande Panda offers a 361-liter trunk that can still be expanded by lowering the rear seats. Based on a video from the Nobby On Cars YouTube channel, the second row of seats that can accommodate 3 passengers is quite comfortable and attractive with a checkered pattern. The available legroom is also spacious enough so that it can provide comfort for rear passengers while driving.
The rear seats also feature 2 USB-C ports to charge devices such as passengers’ mobile phones. The front that utilizes recycled materials is no less interesting. The dashboard has a modern infotainment screen except for the Grande Base model which replaces it with a phone holder complete with a USB port for savings.
Performance
For performance, the electric version uses one electric motor driven by the front wheels. The power is able to reach up to 111 hp with a torque of 122 Nm. Meanwhile, the battery uses a Lithium iron phosphate type with a capacity of 43.8 kWH. The battery is able to travel a considerable distance, up to 320 km.
The Fiat Grande Panda hybrid uses a 1,199 cc turbo three-cylinder engine with a 6-speed Electric Dual Clutch Transmission. The engine is able to produce quite good power, which is up to 99 hp and torque reaches 205 Nm. The engine is combined with a 48-volt battery.
Safety Features
For safety features, all car variants have met the regulations for new cars in the European Union, namely having basic ADAS. The basic ADAS safety features consist of a lane-keeping system, automatic headlights, traffic sign recognition, and also AEB. In addition to ADAS, of course, there are other safety features that are no less important and useful for drivers and passengers.
